About the event
A celebration of culture, learning, and the dissemination of knowledge, Smithsonian’s Museum Day reflects the spirit of the magazine, and emulates the free-admission policy of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington, DC-based properties. Admission will be free to the public during the regular St. Joseph Museum (3406 Frederick Avenue) hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guided tours of the Museums will be given at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., & 3 p.m.  Admission will be free to the public during the regular Wyeth-Tootle Mansion (1100 Charles Street) hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Docents will be available as guests explore the 1879 Mansion and the exhibits on St. Joseph history.
